🎙️ Dictate the Narrative

Capture the Narrative. Present the Vision

Most great ideas die in our heads.

Dictation is step 1 in clarifying our narrative. A concise articulation of what we’re doing and why.

The most fragile, sometimes difficult, phase is the explaining. Translating our concept into words. We can see it vividly but it’s still unshaped.

This is where Dictate comes in.

The Dictate phase is the first step in the Clarify the Narrative method. We think big and speak plainly.

We accomplish this with a series of exercises

No buzzwords. No slides. Just our story. Told simply.

🛫 1. Exercise No. 1: Airport Conversation

Inspired by Tim Ferriss’ The 4-Hour Workweek

Talk like we already won.

Picture this: 3–5 years from now, everything worked out great, the software succeeded. We’re at the airport, we run into an old friend, how would we answer these questions?

  • Where is it being used?

  • What is it doing?

  • Where is it going?
